A lot of circumstances can affect the life expectancy of a water heater, which usually has a maximum life expectancy of 10-15 years.

If you find out your water heater is leaking, shut off your home’s water valve. It’s typically placed in your basement, near furnace or water heater, or under your kitchen sink.

  George is honest and reliable. My 25+ year old furnace was not able to keep up with the cold. He answered my call with little notice and came and serviced it. He could have just said new furnace is needed. It is evident I will very soon need a new one, but he did not hesitate to diagnose and tried his best to fix possible issues. Very knowledgable, he was able to determine my fan needed a new motor run capacitor. Furnace is working 100%. Thank you!!   Genuinely the best experience I could ask for working with George! It was not easy to find an HVAC technician in Winnipeg that service in condo. My heat stopped working at the beginning of the winter unfortunately and multiple big HVAC companies were incapable of providing service at where I live. Luckily, a friend referred George. I phoned him the next day and he was quick with responding and suggested possible cause of the issue. He was professional with his skills, punctual and efficient. Helped sourcing the parts that the manufacturer has discontinued. Gave us different options we could go for and billing was transparent.   We contacted George at Rivercrest heating and air conditioning after purchasing a house in St. Andrews. Our 41 year old furnace was not sufficiently heating our home. It was easy to schedule an appointment with them and the overall communication was excellent start to finish. George explained how our heating system works and answered any questions I had. After his inspection he found a frayed wire that runs two of the heating elements. I noticed a difference with the heating system immediately after coming home from work. As a trades person and business owner myself i appreciate dealing with honest professionals who have integrity and work for you. Excellent service at a very reasonable price!   George responded super quickly to my text on Xmas eve, and was able to get here within a few hours to diagnose and fix the leak. He also took the time to explain what was happening and what he was doing, and showed me how to properly use the humidifier on my furnace. As someone who doesn't know anything about this stuff, I felt empowered by the education he gave me on some simple ways to keep my furnace working.  Highly recommend!

Yes. At Rivercrest Heating & Air, we value every property as if it were our own. We are fully licensed and insured to make sure you are safe in our hands at all times.

Do you have specific areas that you service?

We service all parts of Winnipeg plus 15km outside of city Limits. Anything further is subject to a charge of $0.61 per km.

What vendors/suppliers are you installing?

WHat are your regular business hours?

Mon – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm *ALL hours after 4:30 pm including Saturday and Sunday will be consider after hours emergency with extra fee.

Yes…50% Deposit on installation unless financing is pre-planned.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All Major Credit Cards, Cheque & E-transfer. Any financing would be though Manitoba Hydro programs.
